I’m a mixed-media artist working primarily in acrylic, encaustic collage and digital art. My pieces explore gestural mark marking, handcrafting, and merging conceptual digital imagery with graphics – as I work toward transferring a charged, dynamic energy. I’ve exhibited nationally and my works are in private and permanent gallery collections.
I’ve lived throughout US in small towns and large cities, including 20 years in NYC – also Scranton, SF Bay and Raleigh/Durham. Experiences across these diverse communities influence my visual and conceptual references. My work in the Fine Arts includes roles as a studio artist for The Metropolitan Museum and Christie’s Auction House, and several years assisting a NYC-based art consultant. These positions provided an invaluable addition to my formal fine art education – with direct, hands-on exposure to an extensive range of art from antiquity to contemporary. I have a BFA in Illustration and a career creating digital art for clients including Apple, Google & global advertising agencies.
